Braxton Hicks

Do Braxton Hicks feel similar to a stomach ache or gas? I just experienced what felt like a tight stomach ache and I thought it was gas but it only lasted about 10 seconds and it went away. No gas. I've never experienced Braxton Hicks as far as I know so I didn't know if that sounded like a possible contraction. It literally felt like I was going to have to pass gas (sorry if tmi) it was also a little painful. It was difficult for me to stand up straight for that 10 seconds
