Does your baby produce tears when they cry?

Scarlett is almost 6 months and has yet to shed a tear...idk if I should be concerned or not? After a quick google search, apparently they should definitely have tears by 2 months...

Try massaging the inner corner of  the eye with your finger, my niece has this problem, its a very common condition, if this doesnt work, a quick visit to the pediatritian should do it, nothing serious or to worry about.

With my son it depended on what kind of crying he was doing. I never saw an actual tear until he was 3 months old. I could usually read his cues really well, so whenever he fussed it never lasted long enough to produce tears. The first time he melted down was at the tail end of a 3 hr car ride. There were crocodile tears & that was the first time he had ever full out wailed.

My daughters eyes get wet and teary, but I can't recall if I've seen tears running down her face.

Our son does. The first time he had an actual tear was so heartbreaking! It made me cry!

When my baby is just fussing and fake crying ( seeking attention) she doesn't produce tears but when she is actually crying she does produce tears.

My daughter has watery eyes sometimes, but when she had her jabs there was tears I cried with her poor little girl , she didn’t like them to much
