So during my last few appointments there have been students in with the doctors. I am always asked first if I mind them being there and I don't mind for the appointments really...but not so sure how I feel about having them there for delivery. I want to feel assured that everyone in the room knows exactly what they are doing. I know students need to learn somehow and what better way than this? It's just I'm a private person and I am nervous enough as it is being a FTM, just worried that having someone in there who's not an actual doctor may add more stress. Birth is just so private and personal. ..you are going to be mostly naked, in pain, not yourself at all....or on the other hand I will be in so much pain I won't give a crap who's in there and won't even notice?? 😉
