Ginger root tea inducing labor at 39 weeks

So i read a lot about ginger root tea to naturally induce labor, I just had my first cup . I will be 39 weeks this Saturday. My baby over 8lbs, afraid of not being able to push her out due to my hips. I'm 1cm and 40% effaced. No cramping no sign of her wanting to come out . Any thoughts ??
