Office job vs retail

ADVICE FROM PPL WHO KNOW ABOUT RETAIL JOB LIFE thnxx:)

So, this past year I’ve been working in my families company as a secretary . However , it’s been completely dreadful to me bc I have anxiety issues with certain family memeber in that office for situations that have happened in the past . Honestly I’ve had a bad experience EMOTIONALLY ,I won’t get into details but that’s the main point ...Now materialistically it’s probably an awesome job in anyone else’s eyes bc 1.id Never get fired I’m family 2. Get payed 12 dollars an hour with no experience , that’s pretty much the only good things I can think of . I’ve been wanting to quit this job ever since my dad forced me into working there to have surveillance over me , and now after a year I have an opportunity to leave BUT what I want to do is work at this tjmaxx right next to my house and the problem is they’ll pay me 9 dollars to start . So is it worth it ?! Am I going to have a shittier experience?? I need advice

Btw I’m 20 years old and also I need a part time job because I’m a student , so finding an office is kind of hard
