Anyone pregnant with their rainbow baby?

We suffered two miscarriages this year (February and July) and found out that we’re pregnant yesterday (☺️☺️). I’ve been filled with so much anxiety about losing the baby again and it’s been difficult to get excited this time around. Any share this experience? How’d you overcome those negative thoughts?

I’m 8w1d with my rainbow baby. I lost twins earlier this year @8w4d & lost another pregnancy a few years ago but that one I didn’t know about. I think it’s been hard for me to get excited because I know how it felt having the feeling of being a mommy ripped from me but at the same time I know god did what he did for a reason & I know every pregnancy is different. After I pass 8w4d it’ll be much more of a relief for me but even now it’s an amazing feeling. I have sonograms & lots of hope this time around my little one has a healthy heartbeat so all I can do is pray & keep faith. Congratulations to you! 🌈❤️

I had a miscarriage in June and we took a month break and were pregnant again in October. I was so terrified of another MC. I definitely had a hard time dealing with those negative thoughts. Just couple days ago I bought a Home Doppler and tried to use it and could not find a heartbeat and totally panicked. But at my appointment yesterday I saw a perfectly healthy moving baby. I’m 12 weeks and 4 days. The things I tried to do is to keep myself busy with something and try not to come to Glow as often. But still it was very hard. The only advise I have is try your best to not think of anything bad, try to distract yourself in between appointments. Maybe get a Doppler, but I think it might bring more worries. I will return mine.

I honestly haven’t. I miscarried for the first time in May. I found out right after my baby’s due date that I was pregnant again. I’ve known for 3 weeks now I’m pregnant. I had an ultrasound and I’m having another one and my first check up in a week and I’m low key freaking out on the inside. I’m lost on how to feel I want to be happy but I’m scared that if I get happy about it then I won’t have my baby. I’m so emotional this pregnancy but I have no morning sickness what so ever. With all my kids I had nausea really bad the first 8 weeks. I keep catching myself when I talk to my husband say “if” or “when”  and I hate saying that. So I feel you on the negative thoughts and feelings. I hope to figure out how to get rid of them and I hope to be happy. I hope you find something to help you overcome your feelings so that you can enjoy your little blessing and congratulations to you! I pray Gods protection over your sweet baby and that he or she will be full term and as healthy as they can come. ♥️

i found out last thursday that we are pregnant with our rainbow baby so i am either 4 weeks, 6 days or 5 weeks one day today. every time I feel myself doubting or being discouraged I remind myself that I am pregnant today. This is a miracle and a promise of God. God doesn't return His promises. No matter if this pregnancy lasts for 9 hours, 9 days. or 9 months. this baby, this pregnancy and my body belong to God. At the start and end of each day I thank God for my baby. Today I am thankful for day 7. We lost our angel baby in September 2017 between 8 and 9 weeks and didn't start trying again until June 2018. Never did we imagine that it would take 6 months but I am grateful nonetheless. Congrats to you and remind yourself as you can that this is a different pregnancy and a different baby. Our babies feel our energy so be gentle to yourself and speek good things. 🌈🌈 💜

Me 🙋🏻‍♀️ I’ve had 4 losses - all first trimester. 2 unplanned in 2009. Then 4 years trying with 2 losses, one this year, one last year. 37 weeks with my rainbow. I’m still anxious - I thought it would get easier but I won’t relax until she is here safely. Try to stay positive & keep your mind off it as best you can. It’s hard though. Wishing you the best.

I've only had 1 mc in Feb and I still worry that something might happen.. I would always take a bath to help relax me especially when I'd be super worried or stressed...btw, congratulations!

Yes. I just gave it time. Eventually the worry was replaced with excitement
