Would you be more likely to hire someone if they had a photo on their resume/CV?

Not necessarily, I think that could create a lot of bias before receiving an initial interview. A business could form an opinion based upon looks rather than qualifications

No lol, it detracts from the substance of their CV- I couldn't give a crap what you look like at this stage. At the interview I expect a formal and proud appearance.

No, and HR at my employer would redact pictures. So I’d never see them anyway as a hiring manager.

No personally I wouldn’t. At the end of the day what really matters is how much experience they have in the job they’re seeking and if they’re qualified for it or not. I will say it’s a plus to have a picture on a resume, but would i hire them over someone who didn’t have a picture? No, i would interview both and the best candidate for the job takes it!

No. My job isn’t client facing, so we don’t give a crap what you look like. It’s fairly fast paced, so you can wear a bag over your head every day as long as you can keep up with the work :)

It’s a thing in some countries but I felt weird doing it when applying for jobs even if it is the norm

Not at all. The way you look doesn’t say anything about how well you could do your job and it’d be weird if you to assume that showing them what you look like would give you a better chance of getting hired.
