Today August 20th, 2015 at 38 weeks and 2 days I was blessed with my beautiful and healthy 6 lb 3 oz baby boy Liam Ahmad Armant, this was the most amazing experience I've ever had in life. For a little insight, I lost my mucus plug on Monday and had been having short contractions ever since; sleeping was not easy if I even slept. Well on the 20th at about 6:15 am the pain was worse, more intense but I still thought it wasn't time. I called my doc and was told to come into the ER, I made it in was checked & started dilating immediately & fast. When I reached 5 centimeters my lovely water broke, scaring the hell out of me might I add lol and BOOM there was the pain. The contractions were so intense but I must say I was able to go all the way until 7 centimeters before receiving an epidural. Once fully dilated, and five pushes later my son made his grand entrance. I couldn't be happier or ask for more. I'm so blessed and fall deeper for him with every passing moment.
