So at work today I was on break talking with a coworker. The weather was playing on the tv and he looked at it then turned back and said “looks like it’s going to be a green christmas” (I live where it snows). So I said “good I hate snow”. Then this new (Caucasian) girl (it was her first day) sits down next to my coworker and says “yea, I know brown people don’t like the snow”. I found it very offensive, especially because she was a complete stranger saying that to me. But my anxiety got the best of me and I didn’t say a word 🤦🏾‍♀️ Am I just being a baby about it though??
