Back labor?

Question

Anyone have back labor before? What’s it feel like? Does it travel to the front or can it stay to just your back, does it come and go like front contractions or constantly hurt? I’m on my fourth baby but I’ve never had back labor before.

I had back labor with my first i had no pain in my front at all. I just felt like i was being stabbed in my back

Back labor with my first. It was not as centered as I thought back labor was. It was more like the back of my love handles... but radiated all the way around the front as well. 24hrs of crazy pain before I gave in to epidural I adamantly did not want. Looking back, I should have labored in specific positions to help baby get into better position to get pressure off my back

I had back labor with my first. Mine started in my back, wrapped around to my front and shot down my legs. It was bad 😬

I had back labor with my second and I’m not trying to go through that again. So I’m hoping once I’m admitted I’ll tell them start the epidural and they do it! Lol. It was all lower back pain for me and it was the worse!

I had back labour with my first because she was sunny side up. I did not feel a single contraction in my front, it was all back labour and honestly I thought my back was going to break in half every single time a contraction hit. By the time I had to push, 22 hours later my back was so sore and shot that I couldn’t even bend over or hold my legs up while pushing and my husband and nurse had to help me. It was pure torture and really hoping it doesn’t happen this time around

Back labour with second baby. Only 1.5 hour labour but I screamed the whole time. Had him natural. Don't remember much because happened so fast. Just excruciating pain. Threw up and pushed him out

I had back labor with my first but not with my second. It can’t from my back and came to the front. It felt like really bad lower back pain. It went away with each contraction.
