Nexplanon?

Im currently on the mini pill cause I'm breastfeeding, my baby is 2 months old and I have PCOS... was wondering if anyone has some input about nexplanon? I'm concerned about the weight gain!

I never gained weight with it in but i did bleed for 10 months straight till i begged them to remove it. Some women don't bleed at all with it in tho.

Had it for 3 years and plan not to get it again. I had the weight gain, one time I missed a period and another I had two periods in one month, my emotions were all over the place and never thought it was because of the birth control and once I got it out it was like a new me.

i had it for 2.5 years and didn’t have too many issues. no noticing weight gain, but the biggest effect was my periods. super irregular and often multiple times per month. didn’t hate it but didn’t love it, great that you don’t have to remember a pill or worry!

I didn't gain weight or bleed for about 2 yrs when I went on it. It controlled my emotions aswell.  The only thing that I regret is letting a trainee get it out because now I have a giant scar on my arm!

It’s great! No weight gain and no period. Doc says some women bled everyday, others spot and other don’t have their period at all. Don’t have to worry about skipping a pill.

I only put on 5 pounds. It made me a little more moody and the only thing that really annoyed me was that my periods went from every month like clockwork to every other month, not very heavy. Which was the point of having it put it 🤣 but I noticed that's what made me moody. I had it in 1.5 years before opting to remove it because my husband and I were talking about babies soon.

I just got nexplanon put it, so I can’t testify about symptoms yet...but just keep in mind that any birth control comes with the possibility of weight gain, and anything that is a long-term BC option is going to have a period of bleeding off and on (nexplanon, IUD, shot). It sucks. I’m sure I’m gonna hate it. But the mini-pill is a perfect use pill. If you miss one dose by that three-hour window, your entire month is blown. That’s why I went with Nexplanon. I know I’m gonna screw up with the pill, and as much as I love my little squirt, I am NOT about to risk getting pregnant again right now.

I wanted to get this and it scared the hell out of me so I got the iud and bled for 7 weeks straight I made them take it out it made me so weak and tired idk how ladies stick it out but I couldn’t
