Surprising my hubby

My husband is military he's been gone for 2 weeks and still has another 3 weeks to go. He's close enough this time to drive and see him. He's actually in his hometown. So I'm going to leave early in the am and surprise him. I really want it to be a surprise he has the weekend off. So he has planned for his friend to pick him up as he does not know I'm coming. I don't know what time he will be getting picked up I'm hoping to get to the base before he gets picked up. Do you think I can trust his friend to nut ruin the surprise if I coordinate with him today??
