Getting really impatient and anxious to meet our son! I’m trying to stay calm though because I’m glad he’s getting healthy and ready for the world. Last week I wasn’t dilated at all, have a doctor appointment in the am. I know dilation don’t mean anything but still. Thinking about scheduling an induction date. I have mixed feelings about it. I want him to come when he’s ready and his birthday be a surprise. But I also have heard that when they’re in there longer than 40 weeks that there is more risks. He weighed 7 1/2 lbs last week. I’m a FTM. Another mixed feelings about induction is that I’m wanting to go unmedicated but I hear getting induced hurts worse since your body is ready on it’s own. Thoughts?! I’ll probably ask the doctor if he thinks there’s any risks in my placenta first. He lets his patients carry until 42 weeks if everything is good.
