Sex after an episiotomy...

I'm 3 months PP with 1st baby. The 6 week check up went great Doc said there were a few stitches to dissolve but looked good. We attempted sex at 2months, it hurt so we stopped, and I lightly bled for 3 days.

Now 3months pp feels the same. Is this what people are saying you feel like a "Virgin again"? Do you just bite the bullet and take it? I'm scared my cut will re-open! Help!
