ECV experiences?

Was it successful? Were you induced right after? Any complications? 
I'm 36+1 and baby is still breech. Due to preeclampsia we plan on inducing in the 38th week. My doctor mentioned trying ECV before induction, but he said the shearing force can cause trauma. I'm just looking for anyone with any experiences having an ECV done. Thanks.

I am going for my ECV on next Thursday. What type of trauma is he talking about? And is that because of your preeclampsia? My doctor told me that the procedure is painful to the mother (if they opt out of pain meds) but doesn’t pose any significant risk to baby or mother. And you’re monitored VERY closely for hours afterward. I’ll also be getting an epidural for the ECV because me being able to relax and let it happen will increase the chances of success.

I’m going on 37 weeks and having ECV this next week. I don’t think my doctor will induce afterward though

Following. I have a frank breach baby and getting induced no later than 37 weeks and seriously stressssing. I feel like I won’t make it to 37 weeks and they won’t give me the option and I’ll have to have a c section 😭
