Does anyone use baby oil in thier infantss hair?

I have heard recommendations for using it on hair and scalp for craddle cap but I'm unsure if it will help with dry hair. Although I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to try once!

I use baby oil for cradle cap only but I always put a little lotion in his hair after a bath and that keeps it nice

Use coconut oil. Just enough to get the hair covered but not completely saturated  in it.

Not a mom yet (on the way) but I have heard olive oil on the hair does great things for scalp and cradle cap! :) obviously just a little! Don’t go crazy! But I heard it works!

We used a small amount only because my daughter had a little bit of cradle cap and it made her hair look greasy (even after washing it out) until her next bath.

Lotion.... I always used baby lotion as hair product bc I didn't want to damage her hair with crazy products.

Curly hair tends to dry out, especially in dry air. What my mom has always done for us (my 12 week old has fine hair that doesn’t need tending to yet) she would put some baby oil in our bath, not too much, it’s slippery. She’d make us soak our hair in it and would towel off everything extra and when she would comb our hair she would part it and put small amounts of coconut oil in our scalp. Worked great. Also the babyoil in the bath is great for your skin (be sure to dry their feet first... so they don’t slip)
