Any one pregnant working in retail?

How do you do it? What restrictions do you have if any? How many hours do you work? How do you deal with being on your feet all day?

I work in a high volume clothing store. I was a manager but now training as a visual merchandiser. It is what it is. I just make sure to actually take all my breaks unlike I did before. Sometimes I need help lifting some mannequins and carrying things up ladders. I just ask for help. As far as hours I work 40 because that's just the way it is and I could use the money. Your work place does have to make REASONABLE accommodations for you though.

Not in retail but I'm a hairstylist and on my feet all day. I'm definitely tired after 8-10 hours of working. But the worst is the morning sickness that lasts all day. And there are a lot of smells in a salon that aren't agreeing with me right now. The owner and the manager are the only ones who know so it's been hard hiding it from clients and co workers. My boss has also forbid me from lifting anything more than 10 pounds and I think my coworkers are catching on. I'm trying to make it through the first trimester before I start telling non family. If something bad happens (praying hard that it doesn't) I don't want to have to explain to every single client. 🤦🏻‍♀️ 
Try to stay hydrated and keep carb snacks with you like oyster crackers or pretzels for when the nausea hits. And tell you immediate supervisor if you start to find anything difficult.

I don’t currently work in retail, but with my first pregnancy I did. I had to power walk up and down the store all day since I was in charge of the cashiers. I think it really helped staying in shape and not feeling sick the whole time. I worked 40 hrs a week up until the day before I was induced for high blood pressure. The doctor said as long as I wasn’t lifting heavy stuff then I didn’t have any restrictions. My second pregnancy I had a desk job and I could definitely tell the difference, my body hurt a lot more an I was more tired throughout the day and I still was induced, but for preeclampsia.
