So this is most definitely a first time mom question. I keep trimming baby girl's fingernails and filing them, as in messing with them *every* day. She still manages to scratch her precious face 😫

So I put her in the little mittens that are made for this very reason. But I don't want her in them 24/7...she needs to learn to grab etc!

So I guess I'm just looking for product recommendations (the nail files don't seem to work very well) or any advice. Are others still using the mittens? Am I stunting her development if she wears them too much?

Any help is appreciated. My fiance thinks I over obsess about it. Which is probably true because no matter what I do, I'm worrying.
