I’m 37 weeks. I’m having very sharp cramps that start in my lower abdomen. They feel like sharp gas pains that radiate up my belly. They ramp up when my son is moving. They’re bad enough to take my breath away.

I don’t think they’re contractions because they don’t feel how I expected they would and it’s not round ligament pain because it’s in a different area. My stomach also isn’t getting hard. It’s an uncomfortable feeling but not sure if it’s serious enough of an issue to go into L&D. I’ve tried calling several times but there’s no answer. My doctor’s office is closed by now.

They are happening roughly once or twice per minute so I just don’t know what’s going on. Dealing with persistent lower back pain as well as diarrhea.
