So a few months ago we agreed that he wouldn’t go to his Christmas work do because it’s all the way in London and would mean a whole day of him being a while away if I went into labour, drunk and genuinely a little unfair to go to all that when I’m 39 weeks pregnant and with our toddler at home. So today he’s woken up and the first thing he’s said to me is “you better have this baby today so it’s justified me being off” and a load of crap about how annoying it is and how he wanted to go. I’m so angry. Can I mention he went to a Christmas work meal yesterday in our area?! Why are men such fucking inconsiderate pigs sometimes.
