Spoilt kids and Christmas presents
My 9yo sisters Christmas Wishlist:
Nintendo switch ($400)
Four games for the switch ($80 each)
MacBook ($1500)
10000 robux ($100)
Google home ($150)
iPhone ($800-$2000)
And a few other things I can’t remember. I’m 8 years older than her and I feel like there’s been a huge difference in our childhoods and growing up experience. I grew up climbing trees, having tea parties with my toy rabbit and jumping off the bridge over the river next to my best friends house. She grew up on the iPad my grandparents got her when she was 4 years old.
My sister still believes in Santa and has given the wish list to mother to post to the North Pole. Now My parents have never been wealthy people so this was quite a scare to my poor mother especially since she’s just put every cent into fixing up the kitchen.
Me and mother talked about it and we know if they only get her one or two things from the list then she wouldn’t be greatful, she’d just be annoyed she didn’t get all of it.
So here’s my question: should mother get her one thing off the list and hope for the best or get her something else entirely?
Bonus question: Are kids too spoiled?
