Lil Confused

So my husband and I had sex numerous times during my fertile period, so I took a pregnancy test before we went for holidays and it was negative. Super disappointed, however I was supposed to start my period on the Sunday and it's now Friday and nothing. No spotting, not even a drop. Although I have been sick with a cold this past week, I'm not to sure what to think.

I'm wondering if there is any advice out there? Should I try test again, should I go the doctor? I don't know what to do...
