Was being induced worse for you than natural labor?

I’m a FTM and am being induced at 37 due to severe hypertension. I’m just curious to know what you moms who’ve experienced both think.

No. It was the same.

I had a MUCH better labor with my second than my first. My first wasn’t induced but my second was and it was so simple and less painful. However I was already 4+ cm already and 80% effaced, with my first I was barely 2cm and barely effaced when my water broke.

I was induced with my first after contractions quit, and it was HORRIBLE. Going into labor naturally with my third I was able to talk, walk around, and didnt even need the epidural yet at 6 cm when I got it (maybe if I have another I will try without!)

I was included both times and it was fine. A lot of it depends on you and your mindset. How well you manage pain and how fast your body progresses. However I do know some moms have negative side affects with it, I don’t think many do though! Hope this helps some

Nope, I’ve had 3 kids and my last one was induced and it was the same to me. I’ve had all natural no pain med births, and it all felt the same
