Had dating scan yesterday and am measuring about 6 days behind. Baby measured at 6w1d and did not have a heartbeat. They said they should see it by now and feel it’s appropriate to either let nature take its course or do a D and C.

My question is it possible that it could be too early? We do have another scan next week the day before planned D and C, but just feel confused. I thought any where in the 6 weeks range was when the heart starts beating.
