Okay, so I’m currently pregnant, 36+3. My placenta is still low-lying, but I’ve been messed around back and forth the hospital with scans and meetings but still with no real idea of how far away from my cervix it is. I’ve already had all the potential c-section talks etc. And I’ve finally got a proper scan and meeting on Monday to find out how ‘low-lying’ it really is and where we go from there. All my notes up to now say that the placenta ‘still reaches the os’ which is useless🙄

My question is this, I had a check up with my midwife today.. looking on my notes she’s written that my baby is 3/5 engaged? Does this mean that my placenta is out of the way enough for me not to need a c-section? I havent had any bleeding or anything so all I’m thinking is that surely my placenta isn’t close enough to be a problem if baby’s head has managed to engage?🙈
