I think it depends on the situation and who is having the party.  I’m all for guy nights.  Seriously go because I also enjoy alone time or girl nights if I want.  I like to go out to bars and socialize, he likes house parties... sometimes we go without each other.  Some of his friends aren’t people I enjoy spending time with so I tend to stay home for those and if I go to a part of town (LODO Denver) he stays home.... we both trust each other enough it’s not a big deal.

No, I’ve been going out clubbing/partying etc since I was 15. I’m 36 and go out whenever I can (I have a 5 year old so it’s not that often) I used to go out 4/5 nights a week. I worked in bars and clubs too. I tell guys I have relationships with that if I can afford a night out and I want one I’ll have one, he either comes or he doesn’t. I’ve had exes trying to stop me, they still did whatever they liked (going to football games, lads night in, etc) stuff I don’t care about. If they can do that, I can go out. I don’t feel weird about it. Lads nights out when you’re the only lass is awful after an hour or two, I’d rather not be out with the boys. I’d get annoyed if he always chose it over time with me though.

I got partying without my SO all the time. He doesnt enjoy it, i do, and we have different friends. I'm sure it bothers him when i do it more often but i always try to make a point to spend the next day with him.
