Pregnant and food poisoning?!

So I’m 7 weeks pregnant and went out for dinner with a friend, now I’ve come home and I can’t get off the toilet! Should I be concerned for the baby? Will everything be okay?! Stressing myself out and super worried that I may have eaten something that will harm my baby?? Any one had experience with food poisoning in early pregnancy??

I just had food poisoning a couple of weeks ago and was stressed, too.  I talked to L &D and they said the only reason I should go in was if I was dehydrated and they’d hook me up to an IV.  The nurse suggested drinking something like Gatorade and said to stick to the “BRAT” diet... bananas, rice, apples, and toast.  It did the trick.  Also, I told her I was concerned for the baby and she said it doesn’t bother the baby because it’s in a different tract.  You might want to call your doctor for peace of mind, but you’ll both be fine.  Feel better!

You’ll be ok. Just stay really hydrated. If you aren’t feeling any better in 24 hours call the doc or go to urgent care :)
