Ever had a transvaginal ultrasound?

So I’m going to be going in for a pelvic ultrasound and I will possibly have to have a transvaginal ultrasound and I am kind of scared. I would love if you dropped your stories below and maybe they will ease my nerves.

I had one! And they also did a normal pelvis ultrasound so I had to load up on water. Once the normal one was done they let me go pee before the transvaginal. It didn’t go up very far and it was actually kind of intesresting seeing all your insides! A male did mine and just had a female nurse in the room as that is true procedure in Aus.

Yes! It’s not too bad. Just a little uncomfortable and a lot of pressure.

I've had several and they hurt everytime.  Like severe pain for me. The techs were always surprised and said it shouldn't hurt but they do

So, I had this like 2 nights ago, unprepared at the hospital. It hurt me because I was having abdominal pain and she was getting up in there. I held my fiancé’s hand and just stared at him the whole time. It wasn’t really that bad honestly just really uncomfortable.

It’s really awkward but it doesn’t hurt. I feel like it’s more painful to get a pap smear than it was to have the instrument shoved up my hoo-haa lol

they don’t hurt at all, i have a cervical cerclage in so i thought it would be painful but nope! just breathe when they’re about to go in and relax. don’t stress about it! i still get scared sometimes but then i remember it doesn’t hurt haha
