Stopped Birth Control- No period yet
Hello all!
I'm new to Glow. My husband and I have been married for 2 years now, I'm 28, and we are TTC our 1st!
I only took birth control for about a year before we started trying. I stopped the pill in July and have not yet got my period. I should have got it about 2 weeks ago... - even though I've heard it is normal to be late after stopping birth control, I got excited and took a home pregnancy test about 4 days after my missed period. It was negative.
Now, I am 2 weeks late and am feeling some nausea off and on, and other symptoms that could be just PMS.... But I have NEVER had nausea as a PMS symptom.
Is this normal?? Do you think it's just PMS and my body still adjusting to being off the pill? I can't help but think that maybe the home pregnancy test was wrong. I really hope it was.
I plan to test again first thing in the morning.
