Non-traditional nicknames for Elizabeth
My husband and I love the name Elizabeth but dislike most of the traditional nicknames for it. I had a dog named Ellie, so that’s out, and he doesn’t like Elle. Most of the other ones like Beth or Lizzie we just don’t like.
I know people will say Lily isn’t a nickname for Elizabeth, but I recently read that the names Lillian and Lily have their origins partly in the name Elizabeth, so I thought I’d throw it out there. 🤷🏻♀️
