PCOS how?

How can you find out if you have PCOS? I’m going to the doctor for blood work to see if I’m pregnant since all tests are negative and I’m 2 weeks late and I’m starting to feel like I can’t have children so while I do that I didn’t know if they could tell through blood work?

People with PCOS can have elevated testosterone levels and usually an imbalance in the ratio of luteinizing hormone (LH) to follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). PCOS is kind of a misnomer since you don’t necessarily have to have multiple cysts to be diagnosed with it.

Hey Blood test can’t tell you if you have PCOS. You have to get pelvic/ transvaginal ultrasound done for both sides. So they can assure you wether you have PCOS or any cysts in ovaries or May be it’s just hormonal imbalance for your irregular periods.
