Clomid with PCOS

I'm apparently in the middle of yet another anovulatory cycle and am suffering pretty heavy breakthrough bleeding. My bbt charts look like rollercoasters.

I currently have a cyst the size of my actual ovary on my left side so I don't know if that's throwing anything off or not. Anyways, when I have my doctor's appointment this coming week. .should I ask about clomid? I've lost 100 lbs and weigh 143 so my weight isn't an issue either. I just don't want to go in circles of not ovulating and always being heartbroken when it doesn't happen.

Did anyone get put on clomid or femara asap due to having PCOS?
