Iud possible false positive?

UPDATE #2: So the test at the doctor's office came back negative. The home one was a false positive. They still want to check placement of my IUD and my bf and I are a bit devastated but we know it'll happen when the time is right. Thank you all for your advice!

UPDATE: Thank you everyone for the advice! I have made an appointment with a doctor for Tuesday at 11:15 (soonest I could get in) and I also went and talked to my bf about it. He's kind of in shock but seems to be taking it well and said he's happy and will be here no matter what. 😁

Hey everyone. I need some advice here. I've been on the mirena iud for over a year now but for the past month or so I haven't been able to feel it. I took a red dye pregnancy test and I see the faint second line. Just wondering if anyone's ever heard of or had a false positive on the iud. My bf and I have only been together for 2 months and I already have an almost 4 year old girl from a previous relationship. Kinda freaking out so any help is appreciated. Thanks!
