Nursery? More like baby storage.

I am soo horrible about organizing and decorating. This is what my nursery currently looks like. I’ve just kinda been throwing everything baby related in there! I haven’t even begun to nest and I’m already 33 weeks! I’m super excited for my little guy to get here, I just don’t know where to start or what looks good! Any organization tips for a very very type B and ADHD new mom! 🤰🏻🤷🏻‍♀️🙃 I also plan on moving the couch out and getting a rocker somewhere!

I say keep the couch! I got a rocker and have barely used it at all. I do all my nursing and cuddling on our living room couch because I have so much more room.

Girl, my nursery looks the same! However, i am now 36 weeks and dreading the fact that i didnt start sooner as now im miserable and barely can move around. I can't give much rips but to start while you can lol

I wish I could get in there and organize for you- I am super type A and love doing it. And this room has a lot of potential because it looks like you have some great stuff and a nice big window. I also second keeping the couch over a rocker. It has come in more handy in my childrens room for us personally, anyway, because you can stretch out more and set stuff on it when you are sitting there feeding baby. And it looks great in that room. Maybe you could put the things yet to be built in the closet for now,  put a nice rug down to add some color, install some floating shelves above the dresser and that would be a place to start?

Mines the same and baby is 16 weeks almost lol but sleeps in a pack n play in our room

Totally in the same boat! I’m 37 weeks today and still haven’t finished getting everything ready. I didn’t nest at all in the second trimester because of how much I was working. I kept telling myself as soon as I go on leave at 36 weeks I’ll get it all ready. Yeah... I am so exhausted I can’t move so that didn’t work out to my advantage. 😆 Don’t worry! We will get it done! Lol

I don’t have a nursery. Baby boy will be staying in our room. We have yet to even set up the crib. If i has a nursery I would think the couch is nice. I hear some people don’t like the gliders as much as a rocking chair. But with a couch you are able to rest your arm or spread out if you like while feeding. Just my opinion
