How bad does an epidural hurt?

Sorry that this doesn't really belong here. I'm just not sure where else to post. How bad does an epidural hurt?

The first two times they attempted to put mine in, it hurt quite a bit. Not as bad as contractions, but definitely painful. But they missed and weren't putting it in the right spot.
The last attempt wasn't as bad. Hurt as much as a normal needle poke. Unfortunately, my epidural didn't actually work.

don’t look at the needle lol but it feels like pressure and a pinch. nothing bad at all.

I was having a contraction when they did mine so I didn’t feel the pain from the needle. But my advice, don’t look at the needle. It freaks people out

Did not hurt at all , but mine wore off after some hours and I could feel the contractions.after one hour of agonizing pain they gave me a top up dose which really helped

Mine was terrible because he had to take it out and redo it because he did it wrong 🙃🙃🙃

I felt a small pinch, but it was nothing :), couldn't even compare it to my lightest contractions, it was so minimal!

Not at all compared to contractions.  I don’t even remember feeling a needle poke I just had a twinge when it was placed
