What do your babies eat? And how much?

My 7.5 month old HATES baby food!! I’ve tried all flavors and he refuses them all. I’m thinking of trying baby led weaning. What do you feed your babies? How much? And how often?

My daughter refused purees for a month before I discovered BLW and it has changed our lives! She is so happy now and enjoys eating meals with us. It's easier on us because we don't have to sit and feed her during meal time. I highly highly suggest giving it a try!

We BLW! My son is 8 months but he started around 6.5 - 7 months. He eats whatever I feel like making lol. With his solids he gets sippy cup practice so he gets an oz or 2 of juice/water a day. Here's our schedule:
👉 7:45- milk feed (6 oz)
👉 8:45- Breakfast with sippy cup(scrambled eggs, toast cut into strips, and a fruit or some yogurt)
👉 9:45-10:45 - Nap
👉 11:45- milk feed
👉 1:15- Lunch with cup (veggie, meat, fruit or one of those Gerber meals that say 12+ months)
👉 1:45-3:45- Nap
👉 3:45- milk feed
👉 6:15 - Dinner with cup(whatever we have)
👉 7:00- Bath
👉 7:30 - Lotion, pjs, milk feed (I tend to give him a little more during this feed so he'll sleep through the night), book
👉 By 7:45- in bed for the night
We try to eating meals at the same time as him because he'll try stealing our food and whines lol.

The first pic is a banana pancake. 
- 1 egg 
- 1 banana mashed up
Beat in a bowl to make a batter and cook like regular pancakes.

We do 5 bottles through the day and two meals, also blw. And she eats whatever I’m eating, breakfast usually eggs toast fruit and yogurt and dinner is always different, lasagna, bbq chicken and veggies, taco quesadilla.

Today he has an egg, apple sauce and oatmeal, salmon and tater tots. The Apple sauce and oatmeal is the only “baby” food he eats. Otherwise we give him whatever he can eat off our plate at dinner. We always let him try things if we think he can manage it, but we don’t force him to eat. If he loses interest we’re done and he can have formula. He had an entire (deconstructed) fish taco last week!

If you’re thinking of BLW then do it!!! We do it and my son LOVES food now. He eats whenever and whatever we eat. The idea behind this is so you can model how to eat the food for baby. Doing this method has also helped my husband and I stay on track for healthy eating. My son has never ever had a purée and he couldn’t be happier!

Mine eats three meals a day. Whatever we eat. In the morning she has cherries, bananas(or any fruit on hand).  For lunch chicken, veggie and fruit, dinner the same but usually our dinner. She eats everything! Brocoli, beans, peas, chicken, beef, bread, pierogies, corn, Turkey, eggplant, baked ziti, grapes, oranges, apples, carrots. Just make sure things like potatos, carrots, apples and other harder veggies are cooked and soft. I chop everything small, she throws alot on the floor but I know based off her diaper she gets it lol. But basically we started with puffs and at first she was like omg what the heck is this and then a week later she wanted all the puffs. Then I tried bananas and avacodo and she was like ew. I was persistent and now she will eat everything. Just make sure it's small, soft and if its meat well cooked, and stay with baby the whole time and if you dont know make sure you learn baby helmick. Start slow, puffs and cheerios and banana are great started foods.  I hope this was helpful!
