What is 3rd trimester

I’ve heard so many opinions but just wanna know the TRUE answer lol !

Well 40 weeks divided by 3 would be 13.33 and 13.33+13.33= 26.66 so yah... 🤷

40/3 is 13.3. So second trimester would be 26.6, so 27 is definitely 3rd trimester. I don’t know why people go with 28. It makes no sense.

I’m 26 weeks today and whenever I checked my app this morning it said 3rd trimester so 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m going with 26 since 40/3 is 26.something

Not going to get a true answer. All books are different along with Doctors. 
What to expect when your expecting and a few others go by 28weeks. My personal OB goes by 28weeks so I follow that.

I have heard 26, 27,28 for third tri. So I picked the middle on and decided at 27 weeks I am in third trimester... One week really doesn't make much of a difference anyways. 😉

Mathematically 28 weeks doesn’t make sense. I feel like if I counted 28 weeks as the start of the third trimester I’d deserve to go to 42 weeks 😝
