How do you know what position your baby is in?

How do you know if your baby is head down? I dont get another ultrasound this pregnancy.

When baby hiccups.. Below the belly button is head down and above is breech. If you feel them strongly on one side, baby is likely laying on his/her side. Face up or down can usually be determined by how strong you feel the hiccups on your belly. When Jensen is face up, I can feel them strong on my belly but face down and I feel them deeper. This is all guesswork so ask your OB. Jensen likes being on his side so I can feel his back and guess pretty accurately where he is. He's made the rounds 3 times today and so far has ended up head down bc I haven't felt him move since the last time he had hiccups. Lol

The doctor can tell when they start to do cervical checks.

Your dr or midwife will “palpate” the baby and map their position by feeling. They’re trained to do so. Also if your dr preforms a cervical check they feel babies head to see what station they’re at

My midwife checked at every appt by felling my tummy. My little lady is head down 3/5 engaged BUT back to bloody back! So she needs to roll over soon!
