The story is quite long, but here are the important bits.

The room has become warm from a very sexy sesh with the boyfriend.

I go to the living room in a robe to turn down the thermostat.

My bfs roommate sees me in the robe and says:

“Is it getting hot in there?”

Do you think within the context of me being in a robe and turning down the thermostat the question “is it getting hot in there?” would understandably be mistaken as a joke related to sex (even if that wasn’t the intention).
