Can I do this?

So I want to skip my period this month and I’m on birth control. Someone told me if i skip the last weeks pills (sugar pills) and just start on my next pack that will make me not have a period. Is it ok to do this and does it work?

I did it and for the first few months of skipping sugar pills - I’d get brown discharge instead of a period and then after that I had nothing

I was on vacation 19 years ago with my husband (now ex husband) and I didnt want my period.... I brought back a souvenir 🤣😜 but I love her

Yes, it’s perfectly fine to do that. And, typically it does work, but it is still possible to experience some spotting or light bleeding, especially if u have never intentionally skipped a bleed before. But, it’s definitely worth a try.
