When in pack n play or crib and is whining , so you immediately pick baby up?

If your baby is in the pack n play/swing (whatever ) and she’s whining and complaining (not full on crying ), do you go and get her right away and hold her?
I’m having this issue with LO. I’ll hold her on my shoulder until she falls asleep,but the min I put her down she wakes up and complains. I don’t want her to get so used to being picked up every second

It depends. If it’s during the week and I am buying myself I might have to let her cry for a few minutes but if it’s the weekend she usually doesn’t cry much because my husband is home. We have 2?two-year-old toddler that we have to take care of also and are in between being potty trained. She cries a lot more during the week because I have to constantly put her down for a few minutes to take care of them and then pick her back up. I do baby wear but not all day. are usually can’t put her down for more than a few minutes without her crying.

Newborns can’t self soothe but I usually give her a minute or two. Sometimes she’ll cry in her sleep or wake up then go right back to sleep without me having to pick her up.

At this age, if she’s crying at all I go to her. She needs love and attention.

I always give a few minutes. My son is a noise sleeper so we will whine in his sleep but is still sleeping.

I always wait a few minutes before placing in bassinet or play pen. If baby starts crying leave for a few minutes you will tire them out and there more willing to fall back asleep when you pick them up ! It's hard at first but just try 😁

I can’t stand to hear my angel cry; though i should give it a minute or 2 im just not there yet😩 but my little one does the same. Sometimes its a 4 hour battle until she can no longer fight her sleep
