My doctors office is a joke I swear. Last week I had to take off two days of work due to having terrible back pain and contractions so I was up all night long. I work 7am-4pm Monday-Friday so I wake up at 5:30am everyday. My boss told me last week I’d need a doctors note to return to work Thursday and Friday because she knew I had a doctors appointment Saturday so she said if I felt up to trying to come into work I could I would just need a note. So I had the note faxed saying I could return to work and all went well. Well Saturday at my doctors appointment my blood pressure was high so they made me do a stress test for preeclampsia but ended up sending me home because my numbers went down. My doctor told me Saturday that since my blood pressure was high and since I wake up so early and work 40 hours a week she would send a note to my HR lady at work letting her know to start my leave this week so that I can get some rest since every little thing I do normally makes me start having Braxton hicks. WELL I call my doctor office this morning to make sure they sent that note to the HR lady and.... the nurse calls me back and tells me she sent the note saying that I can return to work full time. When I told her that wasn’t the right now she got sassy with me and said “so you’re telling me just last week you requested to go back to work and now you’re wanting to stop??” Sorry for the long rant I just am so flustered. I’m 37 weeks pregnant and am honestly 110% done being pregnant I’m uncomfortable and just so ready to meet my baby boy🙃
