Wondering..

Has anyone that has had success getting pregnant have no sympyoms at all 7-8 days before missed period, and also a negative? I'm trying not to lose hope but we had sex every night of ovulation, and every other day afwr that and oy skipped 4 days so far, and I start my period 6 days from now and I took a test because I couldn't wait and it was negative.. Wondering if it's really negative or if I should just wait
