Progesterone testing recommended?

When would it be advised to test progesterone levels?

Can I just ask my PCP to get it done?

I have no prior history of MC or known hormone problems but I’m paranoid about possible low progesterone after reading other members’ posts, esp those who have found low progesterone as a reason for their past Mc.

This is the first pregnancy for me! Very excited but also very nervous having read about all the things that can go wrong...
