I am FINALLY engaged to the man of my dreams!😭❤️ Wow is all I can say. I am still in shock & overwhelmed with emotion from yesterday! When he asked me to go hunting Saturday evening, it was nothing unusual — we always hunt on the weekends! When we got to the land, instead of driving me halfway to my hunting stand on the ranger, he insisted that we walked down the middle of the land & take the middle trail. This route he chose was intended with purpose — it would put us right in between the two oak trees on the land where we intend to build a house one day. This is also the spot I have always told him, “If you ever propose to me, I want it to be here. Right in between these two oak trees where we’re going to spend the rest of our lives together.” Sure enough, we got right in between these trees when all of a sudden, he puts down our bags of corn. I hear a noise to my right in the brush & I see someone walking out holding something up! I was so confused! (He had asked a friend to come record the proposal.)I look to him & he said those words I have waited so long to hear, “will you marry me?” I was in shock, all I could do is fall to my knees. I have prayed so much for this day & for this man. After saying yes to the man of my dreams, I find out that the masked man was no one other than his best friend. This guy had done built a stick blind & was decked out in camo & facepaint to not get spotted while capturing our special moment. Not only did he capture our special moment, but after it was all said & done, he took a knee with us & prayed over our marriage. My heart is so full!!!
