PGS testing or not?

I’m 29 and my husband is 31. Unexplained infertility. AMH 4.14 and now 6.40. Antral follicle count at baseline 16-26

I think it’s worth testing the embryos to identify if there is any abnormality since IVF is so expensive and it’s emotionally exhausting why not go the extra step to transfer a normal embryo that would also lower your chances of a miscarriage. We PGS all out 3 embryos and all 3 were normal that was a blessing and honestly I don’t regret spending the money since it gave me peace of mind knowing that my embryo had a better chance :)

We chose to go through with PGS testing simply because my AMH is slightly lower than normal, we’ve had six unexplained miscarriages, and out of 13 eggs retrieved during IVF only four fertilized and only one made it far enough to be tested. My husband and I didn’t want to go through with the transfer if we knew it was an unhealthy embryo that would result in a miscarriage. 
That being said, our embryo tested perfectly normal and I still miscarried just into my second trimester. My doctor had no answers for us except that this happens to roughly 6% of people. 
I do think that having our embryo PGS tested relieved me from some of the guilt I have felt through my miscarriages, but everyone is different. Best of luck to you, mama.

We did not do pgs testing. Pregnant. Off our first ivf round fresh. Currently 20 weeks tommrow with twins 💙💙 good luck and lots of baby dust coming you're way!

Im not sure how I feel about it. I just miscarried a PGD normal embryo. I have no idea why? I was in touch with 4 other women who all transferred within a day or two of when I did and out of all of us only one of us is still pregnant. I started doing a lot of research after the fact and wish I hadn’t done it. Do your research online, there are plenty of articles good and bad. Also videos on YouTube like the one I’m attaching the link to. Also, if it helps my Dr. doesn’t recommend PGS to couples under 35 unless they have suffered a miscarriage or may have another issue.

I would recommend it. We had 4 out of 7 that tested normal. However, I did transfer 2 normal and ended up miscarrying. My Doctor said it's rare to miscarry a PGS tested embryo though. I blame other factors such as stress, and not resting enough after transfer. I was 30 at the time of retrieval and hubby was 33. Hope this helps! Good luck!
