Who has/had any kind of trouble with tampons?

I only use tampons when I absolutely have to, for activities like swimming. I always feel like I’ve put the tampon in wrong, because it always hurts. Also, just the process of putting it in is difficult for me, especially if I’m in the first few days of my period. I have a very heavy flow.

A girl almost died bc the material in her tampon contracted bacteria and it got into her blood so there's that.

I don't use them. When I was in 9th or 10th grade I was showing signs of TSS so my mother told me I wasn't allowed to use them ever again and I haven't.

I don’t use tampons, at first out of fear, and now I honestly just feel like it’s too much of a hassle to keep track of how long I’ve had one in. The only time I would need one (swimming, any intense physical activity), I can use my BC pills to just skip/delay my period
