When do I start testing for ovulation

Is it when my period starts or when it ends this is so confusing to me. First time actually trying to conceive

When it ends. Do not use first morning urine, you want to test about twice a day- in the afternoon and evening, to make sure you don’t miss your surge. Once you understand about when you ovulate you won’t have to test every day after your period, just around the time you expect ovulation.

There are instructions in the box to help you figure out when to start testing based on your cycles. They usually have a chart. You can start right after your period if you want to but usually the instructions don’t require you to start that soon. At least on the brands I’ve used that’s been my experience :) Good luck!
