Gestational diabetes
Hi everyone!
I was just put in insulin today. I’m almost 32 weeks with a super irrational fear of needles. The glucose reading 4 times a day causes huge panic attacks and now I need a shot every night because of my fasting readings. Any advice? I don’t know if I can get myself to do that. My insurance doesn’t cover the pen and I can’t afford $600. So any advice on how to make the syringes easier would be greatly appreciated!
