I know this may seem like a broad post but my only child turned 12 this month. I haven't had a newborn in 12 years..That's crazy but I know a lot of things have changed since then. Does anyone recommend things that are highly needed and recommended for newborns now days? I'm 18 weeks & 4 days and we literally have nothing in our home for babies so its like starting over again. Any recommendations are appreciated :)

I believe anything you used 12 years ago is good for now too. The new things such as diaper genies, dock a tot, halos, Velcro swaddlers, ect. are not necessary.

Go on YouTube and try watching newborn must have videos, I got a lot of great recommendations this way.

Thank you all for the advice. I'm just feeling a little "out dated" so trying to brush up a little before hand and make sure we get the necessities too.
